Dr. David Anderson, DDS

I was experiencing tooth pain and called for an appointment. Sally fit me into the schedule the very next day.Dr. Anderson was very knowledgeable and took great care of me.I was even able to have my teeth cleaned the same day by Kathy the dental hygienist. Kathy was very pleasant and gentle.Dr. Anderson only recommended necessary treatment for me.I have had other dentists that wanted to take out my silver fillings and replace them. Dr. Anderson inspected my proir dental work and did not see any reason for my fillings to be replaced. His honesty was very much appreciated. I'm very grateful for the staff at Dr. Andersons dental office. Sally was very welcoming and friendly. Thanks again!!

Dr Anderson’s wife, Sally, is extremely rude. We needed to cancel due to my husband coming down with a cold. She did not believe us and told us that they have a 72 hour cancellation and a $75 fee for same day cancellation. She will not allow a client with a cold so I feel she is partially to blame for the cancellation. UNHAPPY CLIENT!

I called Denist Anderson's office today...the girl that answered the phone was so RUDE that if Anderson was the last denist on earth....I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS DENIST! If your phone person is SO busy...then get some help and a attitude adjustment. And don't think by you telling me I am wrong to write a bad review because it will bring down your rating...look at YOUR OFFICE and correct this from happening again.

I did not have a visit with Dr. Anderson, who may be great. His office person, Sally, was one of the most rude people I have dealt with in my 35 yrs in healthcare. She left a pretty nasty msg returning my call stating they are a very busy office with no help and with no pt name or detailed info nothing was going to get done. I called back, began to leave a msg, she picked up the phone. I asked for their fax # to request dental clearance for a pt. She said 'we don't have a fax machine'. Spoke very negative about the pt such as missing appointments and hadn't been seen in over a year. How about recommending that our pt contact their office to schedule an appointment, but nope! She ended with Dr. Anderson will not be giving dental clearance and hung up. Not good bye, have a nice day or anything. I feel sorry for Dr. Anderson to have someone so unpleasant and unprofessional representing his office. She hung up on a co-worker regarding a different patient previously as well.

Just finished getting my second crown from Dr Anderson. Perfect!! Sally got me in right away after breaking the tooth in half. Five star service.

I had two appointments with Dr. Anderson. He is a very good doctor and I appreciate his service. However, his receptionist (Sally, his wife) ruined the entire experience. Following my appointment she asked me for payment. I stood confused for a moment because I thought insurance was covering it. This apparently hit a trigger because she became instantly enraged and started telling me she makes it perfectly clear to everyone they have to pay up front and then the insurance is billed, and they don't even accept mine. She was rude and continued to say didn't know where I'd gotten that information from, but I must know someone who will loan me the money. So, I asked about a payment plan. Which they definitely don't do...why would I schedule an appointment the day before I was paid if I was informed of this?? At this point I'm calling my wife (whom was my ride) and other family for assistance. Then my wife walks in and begins talking to her. The receptionist is immediately infuriated again and begins yelling at my wife. She asks my wife if she's the type to buy groceries and just walk out without paying because, well, I don't get paid until tomorrow. At which time my wife responds "no but, every doctor I've ever been to is billed later or covered by insurance. I just had a baby and haven't paid a dime yet." The receptionist went and degraded her on how she doesn't know how Medicaid works because she has a degree and runs a full-time business. So, my wife begins making phone calls asking to borrow money because she was attempting to hold me hostage and she was still yelling at her about how she explained all this on the phone the other day. The only thing she did was confirm the appointment 2 days before and ask if I wanted to cancel. My wife responded with well I don't see why he would, but I'll check with him. She snapped back with well our cancellation policy is 72 hours so there would be a fee and a penalty. So, my wife told her no, he'll keep the appointment. The first time I was seen she took my money up front and we started my appointment. The second time when I had the actual procedure, she waited to say anything until after... Sally is also the one who reads and responds to these reviews so this is somehow going to be flipped on me and how it's all my fault and take NO RESPONSIBILITY for her part or actions here, she'll also respond to me and saying that I will no longer be allowed in their facility again, but that's ok because I'd rather have all my teeth fall out then return to this facility as long as she's the receptionist there, so she doesn't have to worry about my business again.

If you have a dental emergency you will quickly be scheduled. I have been seeing Dr. Anderson since the Covid lock down. We are lucky to have a man with his talents in this area. He is confident and very capable. With a high degree of confidence I can say this, he is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is painless, you will be in the chair for a minimal amount of time and you will receive world class dentistry. I'm so glad I found this guy. He's also a veteran and jumped out of airplanes in service of our country. Medical providers really do hold society together and Dr. Anderson is a brilliant example of this.

The energy, thoroughness, experience, training and willingness to explain in detail the options for treatment pathways.I was immediately put at ease and quickly became confident in the competency of Dr Anderson.AND I was handled very well by Sally, at the reception desk.I needed advice and assessment to replace tooth that had been removed prior to radiation therapy for throat cancer 4 yrs ago.I am very satisfied with the help, assessment and explanation of my options and look forward to the completion of my treatment.I am a health professional and I work in a very customer service-oriented field.My first, carefully thought out overall assessment of this practice is, in two word, 'top notch'.

Dr. Anderson completed my X-ray and filling on first appointment. I am a snowbird and my Florida dentist was unable to schedule me after two visits prior to leaving for the UP. Dds Anderson is a great asset to st ignace.

Best dentist I've been to in a while. Fixed my broken tooth when no other dentist saw it as an emergency. Definitely would recommend.

You cannot get any better than Dr Anderson. His expertise and experience is superior to any other dentist in town. I had gone to another dentist here in Durango and he told me my teeth needed a lot of work and would be very expensive. I left there and went to see dr. Anderson. he told me there was no reason to lose another tooth in my mouth. By simply following a cleaning procedure daily, I have had no problem and it's been well over a year since I saw him. He saved my teeth!

I have never had a bad experience at any dentist or orthodontist UNTIL i came to Dr. Anderson office. I was 100% unsatisfied the entire time and i felt it was very Unprofessional and Unorganized. From the first steps in the door i felt unease. The front desk lady (Sally) greeted me very rudely and belittling. Sally then took e back for X-rays and Dr. Anderson came out and reviewed them with me and he was not too bad i guess. My main issue was with Sally. When i was leaving i then paid my insuran

Visited Dr. Anderson for the same issue, four times. After the fourth visit, I decided it was time to find a new dentist in Durango!

I'm very happy with the amount of attention I've been given on my visits. Dr. Anderson really takes the time to make sure you're comfortable, that you are informed of all your options, and that things are done right. I'm glad to have found a great dentist in Durango.
