Dr. Christopher Haffner, DDS

As I approached the front desk I said Hi and stated my name and appt. time. The first words out of the receptionist's mouth were not 'Hello' or 'Welcome in', but 'how would you like to pay on the (outstanding) balance on your account today? I stated that the balance was for work done on my wife and that we were making payments. I also asked if continuing with the appt. today was contingent on my making a payment right then and there. At this point she told me (alluding I assume to the tone of my voice) that 'we are up here and we need to bring it down to here'. The only change in my voice thus far was maybe a slight increase in volume after being taken aback by her line of questioning. I told her not to patronize me at which point she told me I was being rude. I was done at this point and just said I will find a new dentist. BTW, I've been going to this office for 30 years and have never not paid my bill. Dr. Haffner will lose 20K of future business over a $200 balance.
