Dr. Byron Killpack, DDS

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Killpack. Instead, I was examined for about twenty seconds by some old guy who I did not know. Afterwards, I was billed about $100 over what my insurance billed. When I called their office and asked about the bill, saying that my prior dentist always took whatever the insurance paid and never demanded additional payments, I was told that the extra charges are just the way they do business. I am shopping for another dentist. This is the first time in my life that I have encountered a dentist's office who tells you will be seen by a particular dentist, then switches you to some part timer or temp without prior notification. I also have never had a dentist office demand an extra payment beyond what the insurance pays (without prior disclosure of what the added payment is for; such as being out of network, etc.).

Considerate, friendly, and great communicator. Made our young son comfortable at the dentist. Great team of assistants, too.
