Don’t see Dr Vaughn. While the office was modern and the overall staff were friendly enough, I was unfortunate to have Dr. Vaughn as my dentist for the morning. I had my 2.5 year old daughter with me who behaved wonderfully during the entire appointment and she greeted him with a smile and some toddler jargon. He then questioned if she was speaking English, to which is responded that she has a speech disorder. After hearing this he then said, verbatim “well I guess at least she understands her gibberish then we don’t need to right?” Then laughed caustically. What kind of person mocks a toddler, especially one who was kind and sweet, for her speech, AFTER he finds out she has a speech disorder? I don’t care about the actual cleaning (it was good, but he didn’t do it, a very sweet hygienist did), I don’t care about how streamlined and clean and modern the office is. Those are all good things. But a practice that hires a man who thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable to a CHILD. No.
