Dr. Asmara Qamar, DDS

I had a crown reattached by Dr. Qamar. I was visiting the Pittsfield area from Texas. Before arriving in town a crown separated from a tooth. I had no knowledge of local dentists. On the recommendation of a friend I sought treatment from Dr. Qamar. Her receptionist kindly fitted me into the schedule on short notice. Dr. Qamar in a very pleasant, understated manner explained in detail all the treatment options available to me and the likely consequences of each. I chose to have the crown reattached, which Dr. Qamar accomplished expeditiously and efficiently with minimal discomfort to me. When I returned home, my regular dentist checked the work and approved. The crown has given me no trouble since being reattached. Dr. Qamar, her dental tech, and her receptionist were all considerate, obliging, and professional throughout my visit. If I resided in the Pittsfield area I certainly would choose Dr. Qamar for my dentist.

She is a very capable dentist. It is a relief to have someone who is up-to-date with practices and techniques when so many of the dentists I've had in the past have been "old-fashioned." Very knowledgeable and efficient. I no longer dread my next appointment.

I went to Dr. Qamar's office for a routine teeth cleaning. There was not a hygenist present and so she did the cleaning herself. She is professional and thorough. One thing that seems to set her apart from other dentists and most clinical practitioners is her interest in science. She's able to explain the reasoning behind doing things a certain way, rather than just following recommendations from her field's authorities without question. She is honest and direct, but at the same time she's kind and has a great sense of humor.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Qamar. Our 7 year old granddaughter had dental work done by Dr. Qamar. Exceptional work, kind and caring!
