Horrible Dentist and Experience
BEWARE! BEWARE! I had a horrible experience with Dr. Amato. He dropped a drill in my mouth and it cut a huge hole in my tongue. He proceeded to tell me that I was exaggerating and it was nothing to worry about. He would even not check it out or help in anyway. He told me to leave the office and gargle some water. HORRIBLE DENTIST!

Proposed expensive over-treatment
His over-treatment plan was rejected by the insurance company and contradicted by the opinion of another dentist. That other dentist proposed a treatment plant that was conservative and a third of the cost. The RDH and front desk were competent and friendly.

Disappointed
Bridge broke in 2 years and 2 months. Had to pay to have it replaced. I found Dr. Amato to be rude, impatient and unprofessional. He didn’t check after dental hygienist cleaned my teeth or took X-rays. I had to have many procedures done because of his lack of treatment.

Dr. Amato is rude, arrogant and unprofessional. Fails to establish a doctor:patient relationship. Avoid him. Not a good experience for this former patient.

Recently, I had a crown done by Dr. Amato. This was my first visit to this office. He and his assistant, Sam were efficient and I felt comfortable having my dental work done at this office.
