Dr. Anna Shope, DDS

I had the most terrible experience with Dr. Shope at Wells Family Dentistry in Raleigh. During my check-up appointment, she recommended replacing 2 old fillings and placing 1 crown. All 3 teeth are next to each other. After all the teeth were done, I started to feel pain, and I couldn't tell where it was coming from because the 3 teeth were next to each other. After a couple of visits with complaints, they referred me to an endodontist, and I ended up with 2 root canals because she trimmed my teeth so much that the nerves got inflamed. That cost me $4000. Now, I'm writing this because after 2 root canals, I still feel pain coming from the 3rd tooth she worked on, and I'll probably need a 3rd root canal that will cost an additional $1200-1700. On top of that, I'll need 2 crowns($3000-3500) This is not only about the money but also about tenth of X-rays, 5+ anesthesia administrations and 1.5 months in constant pain. I hope this review will help someone when choosing a dentist.
