Only Treatment That Worked For Me
After twice failing the more traditional approach to treating sleep apnea, I was recommended to see Dr. Smith to see if I would be a candidate for an oral appliance. Dr. Smith took his time reviewing my previous sleep studies and discussed with me possible outcomes in treatment. I can happily report that I have consistently stuck with the oral appliance for over four weeks now and feeling fully rested in the mornings. My wife no longer wakes me up at night to complain about my snoring and I feel more mentally sharp. I wish I would have met Dr. Smith years ago!

Not focused on patient care
I would give 0 or negative stars if I could.Dr. Andrew Smith, TMJ Dentist, is a horrible doctor. I thought he was really nice after my first appointment but that was a front. He is all about the MONEY and NOT PATIENT CARE. He REFUSED to call me after 3 attempts unless I setup an appointment because “he can’t charge insurance for a phone call” his office told me. I wanted to discuss a bill and he refused to refund after multiple attempts saying he doesn’t deal with the money. I told them I would find another doctor who cared about patients. He would rather make $388.88 than keep a loyal patient who is trying to deal with serious jaw pain. My Primary Care Physician told me that he will not be referring ANY patients to him anymore for his lack of patient care. Most doctors in 2024 have portals to send messages to but not him. It is a scam they are running to make money straight out of the pocket of patients because insurance won't pay them what they feel they deserve for these service

BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!
Dr. Smith is absolutely amazing! He is wicked smart and dedicated to listening and understanding my concerns. After seeing 8 neurologists for my chronic migraines, he was the only one to solve the problem. His treatments helped right away and were not pills like all the other doctors recommended. He is intuitive and empathetic and I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr. Andrew Smith
I’ve been going to Dr. Smith for a couple of years now, and have found him to be an excellent specialist. I use a dental appliance to assist me in sleeping with my sleep apnea. I have found him to be very thorough and open to answering all my questions completely which I appreciate. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a dental appliance to assist with their sleep.

I am grateful everyday that found Dr. Smith and that he has resolved my issue with painful TMJ caused by osteoarthritis of the jaw. Last year, my jaw became stuck closed every morning. I went to my regular dentist who made me a mouthguard and sent me to physical therapy which is the usual course of treatment. However, I didn't get better, in fact my situation became worse and I developed facial pain, jaw clicking, a false bite, and continued jaw locking. Desperate for a resolution, I saw that Dr. Smith had done research at UCLA on people like me who had trouble with sleep bruxism and osteoarthritis of the jaw. He made me a specialized mouthguard that kept the temporomandibular joint in place at night relieving significant pain, he sent me to a physical therapist who specialized in TMJ, he educated me on proper jaw and neck posture, and he educated me on how I could reduce facial and neck pain. I now have the tools to help myself manage this painful condition. One year later, my jaw is

I would highly recommend Dr. Smith. I consulted with him for a mouth device for sleep apnea. He thoroughly explained everything in detail, spent a considerable amount of time with me and made sure all my questions were answered. He is brilliant! I am so thankful I was referred to him and couldn't be happier with my experience there. I have had no problems with the device and my sleep and well being has greatly improved.

Dr. Smith consistently provides high quality support for my sleep apnea. His care and compassion is exemplary and he takes time to explain and make sure I understand and appreciate the importance of properly maintaining my oral appliance. He is a caring professional, an excellent educator and I have no reluctance to recommend him to prospective patients.

My sleeplessness and snoring was keeping my husband awake. I contacted Dr. Smith for a solution other than a CPAP. After an exam, he suggested an EMA applicance. The mouthpiece hinges pull my jaw forward just enough to open the airway in my throat that was closing up. I couldn't believe it could be that simple, but it actually worked! Dr. Smith has an incredibly caring manner; his explanations made sense and he has worked with me to fit the device for comfort. Much less invasive solution!

had such a terrible experience, I saw who this doctor really is….and he’s only driven by money and could care less about true patient care. Dr. Smith and his staff repeatedly tried to talk me out of having them create an insurance claim which seemed very odd. Andrew Smith said I’ve been nothing but trouble, I’m a red flag, him and his staff has wasted 3 hours of their time on me and that he was going to let my referring doctor know. He said he doesn’t want me as a patient, all cause I wanted
