Dr. Amy Ruf, DDS

Today was my first procedure with Dr. Amy and her outstanding assistant Danielle. I had a crown prep to repair a broken molar on my left lower side. I have a long history of acute dental phobia inflicted by other dentists who don't deserve their license. Dr. Amy gets it. She understands the often life long damage that does to people. It's the little things I noticed. The tray of instruments were placed discreetly out of the way and covered. Dr. Amy remembered the things I told her made me safe as well as my fear triggers, Both Amy and Danielle remembered I like to be called by my given name. Dr. Amy told me to close my eyes when she did the numbing medicine so I wouldn't see the needle because she knows that scares me. Its all this attentiveness to my comfort that made it possible for me to go through the whole procedure without any anxiety medication. That's a HUGE deal for me. Anyone who needs somebody who really cares with an assistant who has a super fun personality, this is it.

Dr. Ruf made my dental experience quick and painless. She informed me about the condition of my filling and gave me options for fixing it. She was able to correct the issue on the spot without needing another appointment. She took the time to explain everything and I trust her with my teeth. I have already recommended her to all of my family and friends. I trust they will have an equally good experience!
