On my first visit, in March of 2018, a patient came in complaining about pain and her husband threatened to sue. The staff calmed me down. However, 2 years later, after phone calls, emails and communications with insurance, I am still waiting for a $250 reimbursement for an implant I elected not to have.

Dr Bucaj was great at first appt in Melbourne but insisted I go to his Vero office where the office mgr is very rude and acted really shady about billing/receipt for paying cash. Then I noticed receipt has printed on front 'pro bono" with zero balance but she hand wrote on the back how much I owed in cash....nor would she provide a plan of care that I repeatedly requested. Some definitely shady business going on....if you're looking for honest, quality care, look elsewhere.

I would give no stars, if poss. Unresponsive to emergencies. Spent 5-10 mts max. Does not listen well or explain condition as to why in excruciating pain. Recommended to extract teeth without knowing exactly what’s wrong. Perhaps for monetary gain. Do not think new hygienist has adequate experience and caused pain using ultrasound scaling device without proper training. Extremely unprofessional, rude and insensitive. Use CAUTION with this dentist.
