GET A SECOND OPINION Spent 6 days in hospital with tooth infection. He was surprised tooth went bad that quickly cause it looked fine to him. BRING A SUITCASE FILLED WITH CASH! You’ll need it. THE FIRST SET OF PLATES HE MAKE YOU IS ONLY TEMPORARY. You can’t eat with them. You will need more. Remember to ask for a cleaning. You will never get one otherwise. Has lots of dental buddies. He’ll send you to consult a different dentist for everything. Dr T only does caps and plates.You’ll get referred to the tooth removal specialist, root canal specialist, the grinding specialist, and God only knows who else you’ll be sent to. Each dentist he refers you to will have an additional consult fee. Apparently no one fills cavities. Instead you’ll need a root channel/cap, or to have the tooth pulled. He told me I had two options: Pull all my teeth and get implants; or get 7 root canals/caps & more plates. Consult fee for root canal, $350 Second opinion: 1 root canal, 5 caps, 1 removed.
