I was a dental assistant for over 40 years and I have never encountered such poor dentistry and disgraceful business ethics. Dr. Zabala made me a removable appliance that I could not chew with. It also was not stable when inserted. She said she would refund my money, but only refunded part of it. I am out $260 that she kept for “her time”! She made me sign a form that I accepted the appliance before I left her office. NEVER sign off on anything until you have tried it to chew with it! I had referred several people to her office. After hearing of this experience, they will not be returning to her office.
So, her $260 for “her time” will end up costing thousands of dollars in lost business.
