I always have a great time here

A little more than a year ago, I neede to change from my dentist of 20 years due to location. I selected Dr Fritz. My exposure to Dr Fritz's office was good in the beginning. Later, I had a problem with a diseased root and I was referred to a specialist. The specialist adivsed that a root canal would not solve the problem, that the tooth should be extracted. I returned to Dr Fritz's office to have the tooth extracted and was advised they did not do extractions. No problem , I thought they will give me a referral. What I was told next was unbeliveable. The office staff told me they didn't know who to refer me to , I should look on the internet. I returned to my previous dentist even though the distance was a problem. They checked my tooth and referred me the next day for an extraction. This is a new practice, hopefully there attitude concerning care for the patients will evolve to a better place.

This practice hasn’t been the same since one of the original dentists left. They constantly try to upsell to the point that they lose credibility. I have talked to 4 others who were given the same spiel that I was give. Support staff gives incorrect information regarding charges / insurance billing and take it upon themselves to change appt times without confirming new times ok with the ones impacted. My husband was told it is a 7 month wait to have a cavity filled. Definitely wish there were more options in Oakleaf.

Check up after dental hygiene appointment. Both hygienist and Dr. were professional yet personable. They also were very informative.
