The dentist doesn't understand that NO means NO. I had a new patient appointment with the dentist today at Grand Maple Dental Care, I am 6 months pregnant and didn't feel comfortable getting x-rays. I understood the risks of not having x-rays but he wouldn't stop berating me into getting them. I offered my x-rays from my dentist 2 hours away and he said that wouldn't be sufficient. He also made a comment that pregnant women eat whatever they want so they need x-rays. I ended up leaving in tears without receiving a cleaning.

I totally agree with you about them or him being money hungry. They were having a special for cleaning and x-rays for $79.00 , I had received a card in the mail, in addition to it being advertised in the office. I mentioned to the girl who checked me in, but I didn't get that price when they found out how much insurance I had. And when they wanted to do all the fancy x-rays, I told them I didn't want them. They had my records, and I had had them last April. The dentist said he wanted them anyway. It's proven you shouldn't get x-rays that often. I would never recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After two previous issues of them billing my insurance for my wife's procedures (which is a different insurance company) only because I am listed as the head of household in their system, they failed to call my wife back about questions regarding a $33.20 charge. I showed up for my routine 6-month cleaning appointment only to find out that they cancelled my appointment without notifying me. The only voicemail I received was that I needed to call them back, which is on me for not doing it. At the time I was thinking that it was just something on our account and I would handle it at my next appointment. I found out my appointment was cancelled, and we were sent to collections all over this $33.20 balance on our account. When asked why I was not notified via voicemail that my appointment was cancelled, they said they could not do so because of HIPAA, however, they can call and leave a voicemail stating my appointment date and that they need to reschedule. So, I have a hard time believing or trusting them moving forward. I spoke with their office manager to explain the situation and that I would be happy to pay the balance on my account once it was pulled back from collections and off our credit report. The office manager proceeded to refuse to do despite the failure of their staff to call my wife back regarding her questions on the balance.

Overall a good doctor. Very busy though.

Very caring and tells you everything he is going to do. Very good and thorough.

I was quoted one price and then expected to pay another. The group is not trustworthy with your money. Watch your wallet if you choose this dentist.

Dr Braithwaite was very courteous and professional. I did not have to wait long and my appointment started on time. This office is ran very well!

I was needing a dentist close to home and that has evening appointments so I tried it and I am glad of my decision cause my whole family goes there now. It has been a great experience going. They are nice, gentle, and envolved. They care and seems to be not over charging. Dentist is very friendly, and good at what he does.

Dr. Braithwaite did my first root canal. I was really nervous going into the procedure, but was very happy by the time it was all said and done. I was completely numb and didn't feel anything! Even after the procedure, I never felt anything more than sore. I would highly recommend this office! They really do listen and do what you are comfortable doing. All of the staff is equally as nice and caring. Love this office!

Very friendly staff, Made me feel very comfortable, I loved that they did not have judgmental looks on their faces when explaining my dental health.

I was nervous as can be when they told me I had to get a root canal. I was hesitent and wanted to go home and come back later in the week. I ended up getting it done and the assistants and doctor were super patient with me and even guided me as to what they were doing. I went to them for a second opinion but I now know where my primary dentist will be. Recommend anyone and everyone to go to Regal Valley. Great staff!!

Am not likely to recommend this dentist to anyone except in regards to which practitioner to AVOID. Highly unethical. HAVE had experiences with this dentist twice unfortunately. The 2nd time because I didn't recall the name; but could never forget him or both experiences. Maxed my insurance out each encounter: Once at Farabee Dental and before that while at practice in Anderson, IN. Did no manual exam either time. DID confabulate Dx's while contradicting &rude to the hygienist who actually did!
